Neighborhood Crime Watch and Business Crime Watch

Neighborhood Crime Watch is a program of the Community Outreach division. Neighborhood Crime Watch was born from residents in local neighborhoods and subdivisions that felt the need for a concerted effort of awareness and watchfulness in their neighborhoods for suspicious or criminal activity.

There are currently Neighborhood Watch programs underway in the following neighborhoods and subdivisions in the city of Conyers:

  • Callaway Crossing
  • Pinedale
  • Town Pointe Apartments
  • Main Street at Conyers Apartments
  • Briar Creek Apartments
  • View Pointe Condominiums
  • Belmont Village

If your neighborhood is interested in forming a Neighborhood Watch program and would like the help of the Conyers Police Department, contact Sergeant Peggy Dunn at 678-374-5603. Business Crime Watch is a program similar to the Neighborhood Crime Watch but tailored to businesses and corporations. Individual businesses or business or retail corridors interested in forming a Business Crime Watch may contact Sergeant Dunn. Robbery prevention seminars are also available free or charge to businesses interested in educating employees about the right and wrong things to do in the event of a robbery.
